PEDALS helps early childhood educators implement evidence-informed social-emotional learning (SEL) curriculum that fosters kindergarten readiness and lifelong success.
Customized to your classroom.
SEL curriculum improves key executive-function skills, such as attention, memory, and self-control, which are critical for success in kindergarten and beyond. When it comes to implementing SEL curriculum, the PEDALS model is responsive, inclusive, and customizable to support any play-based approach.
We use daily lessons and interactive activities featuring puppets, music, games, books, and other visual aids to guide educators in helping young children learn how to listen, pay attention, manage their behavior, and get along with others.
Our model is adaptable and can work with various SEL curricula or educational frameworks. Our team is happy to implement an existing program or recommend new options.

Tailored Partnerships for Lasting Impact.
PEDALS partners with early childhood educators in all settings, including school districts (Pre-K, UPK, and kindergarten), child care providers (center-based and home-based), and community agencies. With individualized support, we ensure that SEL practices are meaningful, effective, and tailored to your unique needs.
Our collaborative approach includes:
- Customized Coaching – Hands-on, responsive support with dedicated classroom coaching (typically 3 hours per month) and additional guidance for administrators.
- Communities of Practice – Opportunities to connect, learn, and grow alongside like-minded professionals committed to advancing SEL.
- Ongoing Support and Improvement – Continuous evaluation and real-time feedback to celebrate progress and fine-tune strategies for even greater success.
Data-Driven Evaluation.
Our data platform simplifies progress tracking, reducing reporting burdens for teachers. Coaches use monthly tracking forms to observe and analyze curriculum implementation, ensuring continual growth and success for both children and adults. By pairing this evaluation with ongoing support, we ensure continual progress for both children and adults—laying the foundation for sustainable, long-term success.
